WHAT WE DO?

We are fresh-fruit producers, with over 30 years’ experience, specialising in plums, being one of the main producers in Spain.

Explum is made up of more than 70 families who make up to 450has, with a potential of 11.000tonnes annual production.

Our production premises consist of a built area of 10.000m2, cool treatment facilities for 3.000tonnes and a processing potential of 300tonnes of fruit/daily. Therefore, Explum have enough resources to offer fruit of the best quality supplying the demand of all our clients.

Our secret is quite obvious. We want to keep the fruit fresh preserving all the natural characteristics. We are the only company that goes for the natural layer of the fruit: pruine. Pruine is a natural layer made by the plant to protect their fruits from diseases and external agents without the need for/of artificial preservatives. It´s a natural guarantee of a product directly from the tree to the table.
